Tajla Vale
Tajla Vale is an art critic and researcher whose work centers feminist and decolonial approaches to embodiment. She is currently a PhD candidate at Universidade de BrasÃlia and a guest researcher at Hochschule Hannover. Through criticism and practice-based research, she investigates how meaning materializes in the body, how power takes form, and how artists move through institutional spaces without surrendering to their logic. Collective practice further expands her work: she is an active researcher with GEPPA (Group of Studies, Research, and Artistic Practices), and a member of the collective LAMA (Laboratory of Matter). Her work has appeared in Beyond Words, Beyond Queer Words, The RawLit, and The Wild Roof. Born in BrasÃlia in 1989, she is currently based in Berlin.
